Kudos to the designers who painstakingly put the X-mini Capsule Speakers together and even brought along some decorations to display their artwork!
The twelve pieces were showcased at our Twelfth Anniversary Party and it really amazed the audiences and judges!
However, at the end of the night, the judges came out with a uniform decision and here's presenting the top 3 winners:
FIRST - KYOTO LIM
All of the judges were in awe of the workmanship of this denim X-mini Capsule Speaker. And the best part of this design is the concept that is really apt! It merges Flesh Imp (with Flesh Imp denim) with X-mini and adds an element of fashion into sound.
SECOND - ALEX YEO
The "weathering" of the X-mini Capsule Speaker was to signify the durability of the tiny but powerful speakers! Alex actually used colors to create the illusion of rust on the surface of the X-mini Capsule Speaker.
THIRD - MARCELLA KIKYANTO
The second runner up is this KABOOM X-mini Capsule Speaker!
This piece is a fusion between street art, graffiti and the vibes that designer gets from music.
This competition was definitely an exciting one, especially since we've been anticipating to see the actual art piece since two months ago.
Congratulations to all the winners and all other shortlisted designers!
The design you guys made were really awesome.
